seminars to people of all ages. Lois
currently trains in Moo Duk Kwan Tae Kwan Do, Cho Hwa Mo Yang
Do and Tenio DeCuerdas Eskrima.

Adam is one of the master instructors at Dragon Fire Martial Arts. He has over 20 years of teaching experience and is a 5th Dan. He runs the South Natomas branch of Dragon Fire Martial Arts. He has a strong, fast paced teaching style. He continues to train in Moo Duk Kwan Tae Kwon Do, Cho Hwa Mo Yang Do and Tenio DeCuerdas Eskrima.

Michelle is a 3rd degree black belt in Cho Hwa Mo Yang Do and a brown belt in Dan Zan Ryu Ju Jitsu. She has been training years. One of her specialties is teaching self defense seminars. Michelle continues to train in Moo Duk Kwan Tae Kwon Do, Cho Hwa Mo Yang Do and Tenio DeCuerdas Eskrima.

Alexis has over a decade of
experience in the martial arts. She has a 3rd degree black belt in Cho Hwa Mo Yang Do and a Green belt in Dan Zan Ruy Ju Jitsu. She teachers students of all ages and ranks. She is a skilled self defense teacher. Alexis continues to train in Moo Duk Kwan Tae Kwon Do, Cho Hwa Mo Yang Do and Tenio DeCuerdas Eskrima.
Daniel Siazon
Grand Master
Community Martial Arts is pleased to welcome The Siazon Martial Arts Academy with Grand Master Daniel Siazon teaching Tenio DeCuerdas from the lineage of Grand Master Arthur Gonzalez. Tenio DeCuerdas Eskrima is a close quarter combat Filipino fighting system. Although based on the legacy of Filipino warfare, it can also be adapted for modern day usage where "Less Than Lethal Force" may be used. Open class taught by Grand Master Siazon is on Tuesday at 7:00pm It is not necessary to attend the beginner class to attend the open class, but it will give you a good understanding of the basics. This is a combat style designed to deal with multiple opponents.

What are your rates & fees?Community Martial Arts (Mid-town) rates: $100 for one person and $150.00 for 2 or more immediate family members. When you join the program you can attend all rank appropriate classes for that program. Community Martial Arts (Natomas Rates) $85.00 for one and $170 immediate family rate. Cardio Kickboxing Fitness rates: $75 for one person and $150.00 for 2 or more immediate family members. When you join the program you can attend all rank appropriate classes for that program. DeCuerdas: is a drop in only rate of $20 per class the class is 90 minutes long.

What qualifications do your instructors have? Do volunteers help teach classes? What are their qualifications?All of our instructors have at least a black belt ranking and have assisted in many classes before running one on their own. We do have leadership people assist in teaching classes. They go through our Dragon Fire Martial Arts Leadership Skills program.

How do you teach the things you claim to teach, especially things like life skills and good values?"This is done in many ways. We do mat chats about all subjects. We do school community services projects. We talk about and encourage volunteering at outside organizations. We acknowledge our students for accomplishment such as being named a kindness ambassador at their schools. We require community service projects to be on our leadership team. Testing helps build self confidence and transfers over to their everyday activities. We encourage our student to take what the learn in the dojang out into the worlds.

What style of martial arts do you teach?We teach a blended style of martial arts which includes Tae Kwon Do, weapons and ground work. We also have a strong component of street defense in our art. Cardio Kickboxing fitness is a fitness class that combines element of kicking and boxing, and conditioning exercises. DeCuerdas is also taught. It is blended but has a strong forcus on the blade and sticks.
